What should drivers report?
Describe noise, vibration, pedal changes, or other braking concerns, along with when they happen. Include the vehicle details and recent brake work. Symptoms help the shop plan the assessment but do not identify a failed component by themselves.
Why not replace parts on a fixed fleet-wide schedule?
Vehicles can have different brake systems and operating patterns. Keep records for each unit and follow its service requirements. Confirm the findings and proposed work with RAW before approving a parts replacement.
What should the manager arrange?
Give the shop an approval contact and explain the vehicle’s role in the operation. Confirm appointment and collection plans, and keep the repair record available for the next visit.
